6:00 – 7:30 pm
March 2026 marked one year of Art Club in Holden – hip hip hooray!
How does it work?
Bring your own supplies, or use ours. We have watercolor paints and paper, brushes, pastels, colored pencils, graphite, pens, collage materials, and more! (No extra stinky stuff please… leave the oil paints, mineral spirits and turpentine at home, along with anything super smelly.)
We begin each Art Club with a brief artist circle to introduce ourselves and share our intentions for the evening.
Then we dive into making and informal conversation: what you’re working on, art inspiration, art blocks, favorite supplies, local exhibits, books about art… whatever you’d like to share with the group.
And at the end, we close by sharing something about the process or what we made.
There is no specific guided project. Each month, we have a theme available to inspire a(n optional) response.
This program is intended for adult patrons of all abilities, from beginner to pro. However, we embrace multigenerational art experiences. Children are welcome to join a registered adult.
Contact the Reference Desk to RSVP or ask for more information. Stop by the library; call us at 508-210-5569 or email [email protected].
